- The voltage of the battery used should not be more than 12V.
- The participants are free to use any materials of their choice. However the use of Balsa wood, Styrofoam, Corrugated plastic sheet or Sun Board is advisable. Balsa wood is light and easy to handle and to fabricate, hence is a good choice.
- Participating teams are not allowed to use any electronic system that may augment the stability and control of the aircraft, like gyroscopes or auto-pilot. No performance enhancement devices external to the model should be used.
- Participants must make all parts of the aircrafts themselves. Usage of Ready-to-Fly (RTF) and Almost-Ready-to-Fly (ARF) kits are prohibited. However, the kit comprising of unassembled cut-pieces of balsa wood is permitted. Also use of readymade actuators/motors, remote controls is allowed.

Judging Criteria For First Round
The First round would consist of two low passes that should be made under a height of 3m from the ground. The low passes should be carried out between the judge and the reference marking i.e. pole of 3m.
The successful attempt would get full points 20 i.e. 10 points for each low pass.
Judging Criteria For Gliding Round
- Put on the power and launch immediately when signal is given by an official. You may attempt ROG or Hand Launching.
- Switch off the power completely, as soon as the CUT-OFF signal is given after two min.
- Control the aircraft only with control surfaces in a purely gliding mode.
- Attempt to TOUCH-DOWN inside the square of side 5m (landing zone) drawn on the ground. For a successful attempt of land 10 points will be awarded. The point of touch-down is important; however, the model should not get severely damaged / crashed in landing. If so, the 10 points would be deducted. (Note: If the plane is landed in landing zone, but it is severely damaged, then you will loose points of landing and on contrary 10 points will be deduced. However minor damages are allowed such as propeller is broken, etc. )
- Participants are allowed to put on the power and land the aircraft safely in the landing zone. But once they put on the power their gliding time will be stopped and they can not start gliding for same run, they have to land after putting power on. If power is not used for landing then 20 bonus points will be awarded.
- One point per second will be given in the gliding mode, but you can glide for maximum of 90 seconds, after 90 seconds you have to land your plane.
Note:
- Participant will be allowed maximum 2 runs. Best of the 2 runs will be considered for the final score. The runs will not be consecutive and the participants will be given time to make any small changes and repairs to the aircraft if required.
- The participants will be allowed a total of 2 chances to launch the aircraft in every run i.e. if the aircraft falls in the launching zone in an attempt to launch it, then they can re-launch their aircraft.
- The organizers will have the right to cancel any round subject to the weather conditions.
TOTAL POINTS = First Round + Second Round Flying score + Landing Points.
